Limits
What it does not do.
Stated up front, because you will find these out in week two anyway and it is better if you hear them from us.
- Read every handwritten note reliably. Nobody can, and we will show you where ours fails on your own records.
- Replace the paralegal. It replaces the typing, and hands them the twenty pages that matter instead of the thousand that do not.
- Decide anything. Gaps get flagged, not interpreted. What a gap means is a judgment and it stays with a person.
- Work without a review step. Everything is checked by somebody before it leaves the firm, and the tool is built assuming that.
The objection, answered first
Ninety-nine percent of attorneys say they will not use AI output they cannot verify. That is the correct position.
Which is why every line cites the page it came from. Checking a chronology is a ten-minute procedure — confirm the boundaries, check the flagged entries, spot-check five at random, reconcile the provider list — rather than a re-read of a thousand pages. If a tool cannot show you where a statement came from, verification costs more than the tool saved, and it is the check that gets skipped.

What is medical chronology software?
Software that reads a medical record set and returns a dated summary of treatment — every visit, provider, diagnosis, procedure and bill in order, with a page reference behind each line so a paralegal can check it against the record rather than trust it.
How accurate is it?
Accuracy is the wrong question on its own, because a tool that is right 97% of the time gives you no way to identify the wrong 3%. The question that matters is how long verification takes. Every line here cites its page, so checking a chronology is about ten minutes rather than a re-read.
Can it read handwriting?
Partly, and this is the honest limit. Typed notes, billing ledgers and structured forms read reliably. Handwriting ranges from fine to genuinely illegible, and anything claiming to handle all of it is overselling. What works is surfacing what it is confident about and flagging what it is not, so a person reads the hard pages instead of all of them.
What does it cost?
A full records and demand build runs $60k – $90k as a fixed price over about six weeks, plus $1,000 – $1,500 / mo to keep it working. Smaller pieces start at $6,500. If your case volume does not clear that comfortably, buy an off-the-shelf product or keep outsourcing — we will tell you so.
Do we have to change our case management system?
No. This connects to what you already run rather than replacing it. Replacing the system of record is expensive, disruptive and leaves the gaps between your systems exactly where they were.
Where does our data go?
Into your own cloud account, on your own API keys, configured for zero retention where the provider offers it. Nothing you give us trains any model, and that is contractual. We get scoped access during the build and it is revoked at handover.
Is this a product we buy a seat of?
No. It is built for your firm, deployed in your accounts, and the source code is yours at the end. There are no seat licenses and nothing switches off if you stop talking to us.
