Policy limits
Policy limits are the most an insurer will pay under a policy. They often cap what a case is really worth, no matter how large the damages are.
Establishing limits early changes what a case is worth pursuing. A catastrophic injury against a minimum-limits policy with no other coverage is a different matter from the same injury with an umbrella policy behind it.
Why it belongs in intake
Limits determine whether a case is economic to work up at all, and the information is often obtainable early. Firms that establish it during intake decline the right cases; firms that establish it after workup have already spent the money.

Five pages is enough, redacted however you like. You get a short video back within two business days showing what a chronology would surface from it: the dates, the gaps, the things worth knowing before the other side finds them.
